Kathryn Parkin is a highly experienced chiropractor with over 17 years of clinical practice. She has spent the majority of her career working in and around the leafy Heatons of South Manchester and, in 2020, established Manchester Back Care. As the clinic grew, it relocated to its current premises in Didsbury Village at the end of 2022, allowing for expansion while maintaining the same high standard of personalised, one-to-one care.
Kathryn is fully qualified in diversified chiropractic care, including the use of activator techniques, enabling her to adapt her approach to suit individual patient needs. She treats a broad range of patients from office workers and busy parents to those in their later years with care always tailored to support comfort, function, and long-term wellbeing.
She is committed to ongoing professional development and regularly attends seminars and postgraduate courses to ensure her practice remains current, evidence-based and ethical. Kathryn holds the academic title of Doctor of Chiropractic, awarded following completion of a five-year degree programme at the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic. The title “Doctor” reflects her doctoral-level qualification in chiropractic and does not indicate that she is a medical doctor. She is fully registered with the General Chiropractic Council, the statutory regulator for chiropractors in the UK.
